Teichert Gallery/ASAR: Latest Contribution
Art Sales and Rental Society (ASAR), which operates Teichert Gallery, is delighted to have contributed to the 2021 acquisitions announced this week by the Art Gallery of Nova Scotia.
Our contribution has assisted in acquiring the spectacular sculpture CSDC 5-12 by John Macnab, which currently hangs in the foyer of the Art Gallery of Nova Scotia.
ASAR is a non-profit organization with a dual purpose: supporting the careers of Atlantic Canadian artists and donating profits to the Acquisition Fund of the Art Gallery of Nova Scotia, through the success of Teichert Gallery.
Since its inception in 1976, ASAR/Teichert Gallery has donated over a million dollars to support acquisitions like Christopher Pratt’s Blue Boat, 1986, and Alex Colville’s Dog in Car, 1999.
