LAST CHANCE: Take the Artists in Mind Survey on Mental Health

New Deadline: Thursday, June 17

Do you have 15 minutes? Are you an artist, of any discipline, living in Nova Scotia? If so, please take our survey.

The Artists in Mind survey was designed to help VANS better understand the mental health experiences of artists. The information gathered in this survey will inform a report to the provincial government outlining the mental health care needs of artists. Your feedback will also help us recommend mental health pilot programs, and identify organizations that can offer artist-specific mental health supports.

Your responses to this survey will be anonymous unless you would like to be contacted for follow up research, or to enter the draw for one of our fabulous prizes!

  • a $40 digital gift certificate to Patch Halifax, a modern fabric shop and sewing workroom.

  • a $90 gift certificate for an Individual Movement Education Session with Eastward Moving Somatics which offers online and in-person instruction in somatic, functional, restorative, and therapeutic movement, embodied yoga and Pilates.

  • a prize pack from Bookmark Booksellers, a locally owned, independent bookstore.

  • a prize from Venus Envy, an education-oriented sex shop and bookstore.

  • a 11″ x 14″ print by media artist Séamus Gallagher, titled Feeling Despondent?, from their Well Read series.

  • a $50 gift card from Long & McQuade, the largest chain of musical instrument retailers in Canada.

The survey will take approximately 15 minutes to complete and it only takes a second to share the link with others in your network. Thank you so much!
