Presented by Avon River Arts, our Artisans in Action series of pop-up markets showcase Nova Scotian artists and artisans who focus on historical trades, crafts, and art forms done in both traditional and contemporary manners.
This series is an opportunity for artists and artisans to engage an audience by demonstrating their creative process and techniques, while also offering their products for sale.
Artisans in Action takes place the first Sunday of the month, June – October, Noon until 4pm at the Avon River Heritage Museum, 17 Belmont Road, Avondale/Newport Landing in Hants County.
The cost for artists & artisans to participate is $25 per person/per event. As always artists and artisans are accepted on a first come, first served basis. Tables, chairs and refreshments are provided.

October 4th – Traditional Nova Scotian Crafts and Techniques (Mi’kmaq, Acadian and Planters)
