New Updates from Mark Brennan- Upcoming Audiovisual Tour with Mark

Hello from Argyle Fine Art!

It’s been a while since we’ve reached out to some of you and we thought what better day than a February day to tell you about an ARTIST TALK coming up that we hope many of you can attend! (info in red below)

As you know we represent lots of wonderful Nova Scotia based artists, but Mark Brennan is a gallery favourite for sure! We hope you are enjoying your work you have from him. He’s busy at work still and changing up his focus a bit more than even a year ago. We are working with him exclusively now, and will have new works arriving often.

Attached is a small 4″ x 5″ painting still available from our recent Pre-Shrunk show which is so lovely! It’s only $175 in case you were interested.

PLEASE SIGN UP (as our space is limited) AND RELAX for 1 hour and 30 min.
You are worth it!

Mark is hosting a talk at the gallery on Saturday, March 21st, 2pm-3:30pm that is a great  opportunity for fans of his work to meet him and learn what inspires him. He will be chatting about his work, his travels, how he approaches art and why painting nature is so important to him. It truly is his passion. This talk will be audio visual as well…The idea is that you will feel as though you have walked into the forest or to the shoreline with Mark when we are completed. So take a few moments from a busy Saturday and RELAX with art and Mark.  Suggested donation/admission is just $10. Bring a friend! Light refreshments will be served.

HERE is a link to some other available works by Mark Brennan that are new too! TAKE A BROWSE and get in touch with any questions.

We have also included a neat image below of the stages of a new painting coming soon (measuring 20″x20″) Mark writes about it in his own words:

I photographed this work at some of the stages to give you an idea of how I develop a painting. A few years ago now I spent some time on Seal Island some 40 km South of Yarmouth, Nova Scotia. Each morning I was up before sunrise to catch the most fleeting light, that time between night and the first hint of daylight. Seal island is such a unique place, I found it untouched by modernity that could be found just over the horizon on the mainland. I have tried to capture a sense of both the remoteness and the timelessness of this place.

..And there is one larger one attached that we are offering at a special price. It measures 48″ x 60″. Email or phone us for details on that.

Have a great weekend! VISIT SOON! If you mention you received this email we are happy to offer 20% off any of the works.
