English Willow Basket Making Workshop
with Heather Sanft
Saturday, March 14th from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
Back by popular demand! This one-day basket making workshop will teach students how to make a small willow fruit sieve using traditional English construction techniques: solid bottom, English randed sides, with slight inward taper to a wide border. These baskets are traditionally used to hold a measure of fruit and will pile on top of each other successfully for market.
