Teichert Gallery Presents Woozles Story Hour on Sunday, Dec. 1

Woozles Story Hour

Bring the kids to Teichert Gallery on Sunday, Dec. 1 for Woozles Children’s Storytime.

This special event to cap off the exhibition 1,000 Words is ideally suited for children ages two to six, although folks of all ages are most welcome! A storyteller from Woozles will bring an array of picture books and read for about a half hour to 45 minutes. Then, author/illustrators Doretta Groenendyk (A Harbour Seal in Halifax, You Make Me Happy, Love You More Than Anything) and Briana Corr Scott (She Dreams of Sable Island) will step to the easel, draw, and answer questions about what they do. Woozles will also be selling books illustrated by the artists in the show. Plus, it’s the last chance to see 1,000 Words before the exhibition comes down.

EVENT: Woozles Story Hour
WHEN: Sunday, December 1st, 1-3 pm
WHERE: Teichert Gallery, 1723 Hollis Street

Pictured works are from artists: Doretta Groenendyk and Briana Corr Scott
