Debbie forwarded this for participants at the upcoming workshop. Come out and learn different techniques using palette knives, trowels, etc. This will be a fun way to add dimension to your paintings.
I will bring an 8×10 masonite boards for folks. I recommend that they bring a hard surface canvases if they have not used palette knifes. I with bring larger pieces of masonite if they wish to purchase from me. They will be gessoed. They can use stretched canvases but have to be a bit more careful.
As for tools I will provide my collection for folks to use. I suggest that
if they have or wish to buy to pick up metal ones as to plastic ones as they are easier to work with. Trowel shape ones.
The rest of supplies they would have paints palettes water jugs paper towels and brushes if I see tears coming down their faces :) Haha
They can bring photos if they have some subjects they prefer to paint
otherwise I will provide enough images for them to work with.
