Betty Bruhm was born and raised in the Annapolis Valley and currently lives in Dartmouth. She retired in 1991 from a career in nursing and then took up painting. She joined a couple of local art groups and taught painting for several years. She was a volunteer art instructor at a local Church’s Timeout program. Betty continues to take lessons as often as possible and finds painting a most enjoyable pastime.
