a memoir covering 34 years of work in a tiny African nation

A NOVA SCOTIA SUCCESS STORY. Improving the economics, health and education of all Gambians , with current focus on maternal and girls health. 1500 Nova Scotia students, faculty and professionals have traveled to Gambia; 100s of Gambians obtained degrees in NS.
Three NS universities cooperatively involved: UCCB, Saint Mary’s U. and Dalhousie Medical School, plus health and police professionals.
Burris Devanny , with 35+ years in education locally and 55 years working in Africa, is the very best person in Canada to tell this story. This is his third major publication, along with countless articles.
