PAINT HAPPY LITTLE TREES
…at our FLASH BOB MOB in honour of Bob Ross
Saturday, April 6th, 1:30-3:30pm
Registration to PAINT with us, including all supplies is just $25
LIMITED SPACE – CALL OR EMAIL TODAY!
Or just come by to watch, dress up and be part of the happiness
Say Good Bye to your stress and hello to happiness, the Bob Ross way. Bob Ross advocated that above all, painting should be a fun and joyful activity, and we think so too, which is why we have a Bob Ross-inspired event planned for next week! On Saturday, April 6th, swing by the gallery from 1:30pm-3:30pm for a FLASH BOB MOB. With the help with DESERRES providing some of the supplies and Bob Ross certified instructors Linda and John Powell, we’ll all learn how to paint happy little trees in no time! So all you have to do is show up with an open mind, and a willingness to have a bit of fun! We encourage you to dress up in Bob Ross attire, especially a wig (if you can find one!) to emulate his signature “look”.
Many of our gallery artists have recently remarked about the fondness with which they remember watching the show, and the respect they have for the techniques he imparted.Gordon MacDonald, one of the artists we represent here at the gallery says:
“People who don’t know how to paint like to laugh at Bob Ross. After becoming a professional painter, I realized there was absolutely no difference between the way Bob Ross applied paint, and the way I do. He was a pro.”

At the Market : Deb Bromley
Sunday, April 14th 1pm-3pm, $50
We are excited to announce the first workshop lead by Deb Bromley. Deb loves people watching and in the summer months she draws her inspiration from frequent visits to the beach but in the colder months that’s not always possible. So we thought we’d take you on all on a journey of learning about her practice of narrative art with a drawing workshop -where we’ll watch people at the market and create works using pencil, ink and coloured pencil on paper and maybe do some shopping while we’re at it!
