March Break Arts Camps are almost here!

Ross Creek’s March Break day camps are taught by professional artists and led by fabulous counselors. Whether it’s creating a masterpiece, having an outdoor adventure, or making new friends, our camps have something for every kid! Camps run from 9am to 5pm, Monday to Friday. Along with our arts programming, campers enjoy different daily indoor and outdoor recreation, such as: our ‘Maple Magic’ tour, campfire (with s’mores!), games, hikes, and a Creekster hunt!

Ages 4-7: Explore a theme!
Ages 8-11: develop new skills!
Ages 12-18: advance & Excel!

Two Planks Annual Fundraising Gala

Two Planks and a Passion requests the honour of your presence on March 30th for an evening of phantasmal entertainment. The night will unfurl its splendor through art, drama, refreshments, and a lavish meal. Live this night, as you have never lived before!

Ceremonies begin at 6pm with cocktails, auction viewing and the first of the night’s entertainment. Grand Banquet by Cocoa Pesto Catering and Art Auction at 7:30PM, with dancing to follow.

Carriage Service is available locally from Wolfville, Kentville, and Coldbrook.

Academy Scholarships! March 10 Deadline

Ross Creek is pleased to offer full and partial scholarships for each  Teen Arts Academy discipline! Theatre, Visual Arts, Film, Choreography, Writing and Music. The Academy is a two week immersive arts program providing professional direction and focus to help teens realize their inner artist. An exceptional faculty works closely with each student pushing individual growth while encouraging collaboration.

Speaking Shakespeare – Spring 2019

With Ken Schwartz, March 8-10

Study for a phenomenal weekend with the director of Two Planks and a Passion Theatre’s Ken Schwartz, and learn to make the language of Shakespeare come alive, on stage, in the classroom, or in your mind.

Students are provided all meals, and can stay in our heated bunkhouses in shared accommodation or in individual glamping cabins (with woodstoves). Both sleeping options are off grid, with shared bathrooms in the main building.

Days are spent in the black box studio, understanding the elements of verse and developing monologues.
