Feb 1: Art, Nature, Play! PD Day Camps!

Spend the day making art, playing games and meeting new friends at Ross Creek’s PD Day Camps! Amidst the beautiful natural surroundings at Ross Creek Centre for the Arts, kids will have the opportunity to explore the landscape and try out a variety of multi-age art activities in a studio setting. Home Schoolers welcome!
The registration fee includes all materials and a tasty homemade lunch!

Ages: 5-12
Dates: Fri Feb 1, Wed, May 15
Time: 9:00-5:00
Cost: $50 per child, includes all materials + lunch and snacks!

A firelight adventure to remember!

The forest transforms into a different world at night.
On February 9 and March 9, let our torches guide your way through the snowy landscape on this magical tour of Primrose Path (approx. 2km) beginning at 6 pm. Thrill your senses, and get a glimpse of the nocturnal side of nature. Our trails wind through 178 acres of beautiful fields and forests ­— perfect for a snowshoe adventure. Explore cooking in class at the Creek!

Our Chef and House Preparateur, Kathleen Novelia, trained in pastry making and worked at both the Fairmount Hotels and at the Palais des congrès in Montreal. Now she brings her passion for accessible and delicious food, with no waste, to Ross Creek!


February 17 (ages 14+): Celebrate the Lunar New Year by exploring different countries’ interpretations of Hot-Pot!

February 24 (ages 14+): Learn to make an amazing bechamel sauce and use it in a variety of dishes!

March 3 (All Ages): Make 3 types of pizza crusts, and experiment with unique toppings and combos!

$40.00/Workshop. The registration fees includes the workshop, recipes, dinner, and goodies to take home!

Youth & Women’s Winter Adventure Weekends!

This year we are excited to be hosting TWO Winter adventure weekends! Our annual weekend for youth ages 9-14 on February 16-18, AND A NEW EVENT Winter Adventure Women’s Weekend on February 22-24.

Both groups will spend the weekend learning survival skills! Focusing on fire-making, shelter-building, winter navigation, and other outdoor skills. Participants will build confidence in the snowy outdoors during a weekend that is both challenging and a whole lot of fun! All guided by our environmental educator, Christina Daffre.

We are looking for a fabulous arts programmer immediately, with start date negotiable, willing to relocate to within 30 minute drive of Ross Creek.

With a chance to build on our amazing programs in all the arts, we are looking for someone with a visual arts or fine arts background, creativity, organizational skills, and postive curiosity. Interest in the ways that the arts can impact the lives of our communities is vital, and a desire to be part of an amazing team, to mentor youth, and to facilitate creativity and connection between artists are all central to the position. We are open to recent graduates and those who come with more experience if it is the right fit, and salary and benefits…
