Situated on an island off the coast of Nova Scotia, the Village of Westport is offering live-in studios to artists for self-directed residencies.
Open from May to the end of October, each live-in studios cost $400.00 per two weeks. A friend, companion or another artist may accompany the applicant at no extra cost.

Amenities included in each 750 square foot studio are two single beds, a sofa, large tables to work on, a coffee table and an armchair. A common fully equipped kitchen as well as a shared bathroom with shower are on the premises.

Artists must bring all their own art supplies.

Available 2019 residencies begin on Saturday;
May 4th, May 18th,
June 1st, June 15th,
July 13th, July 27th
August 10th, August 24th
September 7th, September 21st,
October 5th, October 19th
Artists may apply for longer time periods but must respect the two week interval time frames.

Not included in the residency: travel expenses, food, health
insurance, art materials, and other personal expenses.
