BOOK MATTERS: Pop-up Open Mic Night

The Inverness County Centre for the Arts is hosting a pop up open-mic night of reading as part of our Fall book arts festival. We are inviting local authors, artists and the like to join us on Sunday October 1st from 7-9pm for short readings and artist presentations.
We’re also extending the invitation to our many wonderful participating artists from away who have shared their work with us for the Book Matters exhibition and would be interested in Skyping in to read and talk about their work.

October 1st. Afternoon

The Inverness County Centre for the Arts is putting on a Book Bazaar as part of their fall book arts festival programming. We are looking for authors, book artists and vendors of all book-related kinds who would like to participate in a day of book sales and celebrations.
Bring your own books, homemade books, new books, used books and all! Reserve your own table or share with a friend! Table registration by donation.
All of the books that are for sale in the upcoming Book Matters art exhibition opening Tuesday Sept. 25th 6-8pm, will be on display and for sale.

Fun for kids too! We’ll have the Kids Corner set up in the Third Meadow Gift Shop with plenty of children’s books for them to enjoy.
