Crossroads: an intersection in time (part 2) opening reception Thursday, September 6 at 6 pm

(Halifax, NS) Halifax Art Map in collaboration with The Sunroom, Halifax Central Library, presents Crossroads: an intersection in time (part 2) the 2018-19 Halifax Art Map exhibition.
This year, in addition to celebrating work by local artists and artisans in several mediums, Halifax Art Map challenged participating artists to address the theme of ‘crossroads’ in its variety of meanings from a physical place, to a point of decision-making and a critical juncture, to the metaphorical. The artists have responded with images that represent a range of the familiar, surprising, mysterious and insightful.
Exhibition participants include established and emerging artists working in genres from oil, acrylic, watercolour, pastel and photography.
