Halifax Art Map in collaboration with The Craig Gallery presents Crossroads: an intersection in time, the 2018-19 Halifax Art Map exhibition.
This year, in addition to celebrating work by local artists and artisans in several mediums, Halifax Art Map challenged participating artists to address the theme of ‘crossroads’ in its variety of meanings from a physical place, to decision-making and a critical juncture, to the metaphorical. The artists have responded with images and objects that represent a range of the familiar, surprising, mysterious and insightful.
Exhibition participants include established and emerging artists working in genres from oil, acrylic, watercolour, pastel, photography, metal and ceramic.
