Pouring Paint is a two-day workshop for both beginner and experienced painters with multi-media artist Pat Lohrenz. Over the two day period, artists pour, scrape, layer and collage with fluid acrylic paints, mediums and collage materials to create movement and texture. Memory, imagination and intuition guide the creative process. Day one includes several demonstrations of techniques for pouring and creating texture. and day two will focus on layering, discovery and adjustment.

Pat has taught this workshop several times in Ontario and Nova Scotia with very positive feedback from both new and experienced artists. It is, for most, an experimental workshop as the artists need to follow the process and not get attached to the outcome. Messy but lots of fun.
