Small Treasures
Small treasures is a juried international show of small works. Juried by Ray Cronin, former CEO and Director of the Art Gallery of Nova Scotia; Small Treasures features over 100 artworks by 76 artists from 6 countries.

Hands Dancing
Hands dancing is the annual non-juried members exhibition at Inverness County Centre for the Arts. Hands dancing features work in a variety of media, from artists of all ages.

inFlux Ideas with Michelle Sylliboy
Tuesday, July 17, 6-7pm
Join Michelle Sylliboy for an informal talk about her work with Mi’kmaq language, hieroglyphs, education and stone carving.

Craft Together Group
Wednesdays, 2-4pm
Craft together Group is led by Emily MacDonald and Olivia Ball. Come along for a fun and relaxed craft session. Bring a project or learn something new! Refreshments provided, rides available. Suggested donation $2.

Introductory soapstone carving workshop
A gentle introduction to soapstone carving no experience needed
July 21, 10am-4pm

Learn one on one or in a group the art of soapstone carving. This summers theme is about Mi’kmaq hieroglyphic symbols. I am excited to share my Mi’kmaq culture by sharing the history and language of the Mi’kmaq people whose territory resides in the Maritime Provinces Quebec, NFLD and Maine.

For the all day soapstone workshop. Here are the details: All supplies are included stone tools and laughter in the cost. Please bring bag lunch

Yoga with Anne Levesque
Join Anne Levesque for yoga at Inverness County Centre for the Arts, every Thursday 4.30-6pm. This yoga class is by donation.

Beth MacLellan Yoga
Beth is a Registered Yoga teacher through Yoga Alliance and will be offering classes in Inverness throughout the summer months. Three weekly yoga classes will be on offer, taking place at the Inverness County Centre for the Arts.
Classes will cater to all levels of yoga so all experience levels are welcome. With limited options for exercise classes in the area, these yoga classes are a great place to exercise, destress, socialize, and have fun!

The first class will take place this Thursday, June 14th at 7:30pm. Please arrive 15 minutes before class time for registration.

Weekly class schedule is as follows:
Tuesdays at 7:30pm
Thursdays at 7:30pm
Sundays at 10am

Monthly Unlimited Membership: $55 for intro month, $75 for following months
10 Class Pass: $120 for 10 classes
Drop-in Rate: $15 per class
*As an initiative to encourage a healthy active lifestyle for our youth in the community, all classes with be FREE for people aged 12-18. A parent/guardian signature is required for people in this age-range.*
