An artist’s recommendation: I have never had a better teacher than Evelyn Dunphy. She is talented, she is knowledgeable, she is dedicated, she is patient, and she is encouraging. She works with the student at whatever level the student is, and if the student pays attention and does the work, the student will progress. The best part: Evelyn overflows with the joy of life and the joy of painting, and her students can’t help catching it. I can’t imagine a better painting teacher than Evelyn.~ Neil G.

The glorious light of the Beara Peninsula is an artist’s paradise. This workshop is designed to enable you to approach plein air painting with confidence. From making a good composition to choosing values and colors, you will be rewarded with a painting that is evocative, tells a story, and is a beautiful memory of Ireland.

Evelyn Dunphy’s work has been exhibited in juried exhibitions throughout the United States, Canada and the UK, including the Canadian Society of Painters in Watercolour (Daniel Smith award), Royal Watercolour Society Contemporary Art Exhibit, London, UK, Salmagundi Club , New York, National Arts Club, New York, Adirondack Exhibition of American Watercolors among many others.
