Presented by Avon River Arts, Artisans in Action is a series of pop-up shows and demonstrations showcasing Nova Scotian artists and artisans, taking place the first Sunday of the month at the Avon River Heritage museum in historic Newport Landing. This event is held rain or shine and is open free to the public.
Artists are currently being accepted for our July 1st event, taking place between noon and 4pm, which is devoted to those who work with metal, glass, or those who create jewellery. The cost to participate is $25 per person/per event. As always artists and artisans are accepted on a first come, first serve basis and we accept up to 3 artists from each medium, for each event (excluding Paint Avondale, which is open to as many artist as we can comfortably accommodate along the historic Newport Landing waterfront). Tables and chairs are provided and we have a number of canopy tents should you want to set-up outdoors.
