Paint Peggy’s Cove is a three-day event that highlights the beauty and heritage of the shorelines, fishing village, and surrounding area. Artists bring brushes, oils, watercolours, pastels, and pencils to create new works inspired by this unique Nova Scotian community by setting up on the rocks, wharves, and park areas. Once complete, each day’s works—as well as studio pieces by the same artists—will be on view and for sale in a large Mongolian yurt located a short walk from the Peggy’s Cove lighthouse.
Watch artists at work, soak up the views, and fall in love with paintings as they’re being created. You’ll also find a children’s art tent located next to the yurt which offers a variety of free creative activities.
This three-day event takes place on Saturday 14th, Sunday 15th and Monday 16th of July, between 10 a.m. and 5 p.m.
