Artist Kim Danio has been wowing people for years now, with her very unique way of re-purposing. She transforms shoes into works of art! Now she’s excited to show you how to give your old shoes new life! You’ll make either a frog or toad using just a baby shoe and a glove. Mostly all supplies are provided, however we ask that if possible each participant bring their own mason jar with water, glue gun and glue sticks.

CITY BIRDS: Pastel Drawings with Sharon Cave

Join artist Sharon Cave for a drawing workshop using pastels. Your inspiration will be city birds! Seagulls, crows, pigeons and starlings to name a few. No previous experience is needed.

Painting with Polaroids
Saturday, May 5th, 5pm-7pm, $65

Back by popular demand is artist Mary Garoutte to paint with all of us…but with a twist! Participants will be taking a polaroid photograph on a short walkabout around downtown Halifax and then using this photograph to paint on with acrylic and various mediums. All supplies will be provided, but we are asking that folks bring along a mason jar with water for brushes and wear comfy clothing.
