Calligraphy & Art: Adult Workshop, April 14
Ross Creek is delighted to offer a workshop for all adults with our visiting gallery artist, Soheila Esfahani.Inspired by her renowned work using Islamic calligraphy in her paintings, students will have a day of learning to use a traditional reed pen and ink and create text-inspired artworks. No previous knowledge of calligraphy is required. All materials will be included in this hands-on workshop. Lunch with the artist is included, along with a tour of her gallery exhibit. Come explore your creative side, with an incredible artist whose work is renowned!

Time: 11:00 – 4:00 pm (with a break for lunch, conversation and fresh air)
Cost: $95+HST (incl lunch and materials)
Celebrate Persia on April 15!
Join us for an afternoon of delicious food, all-ages art activities inspired by Persian traditions, a gallery opening by Ross Creek’s Iranian Canadian artist in Residence, Soheila Esfahani, short films by Sadaf Foroughi, live music by Saeed Foroughi, and dance by Nassim Parsa!
Admission is by donation, with a suggested donation of $5 per person, and $15 per family, with food items extra.
