Mary E. Black Gallery
Jan 26 – Mar 18, 2018
Opening: Thursday January 25, 6pm
Storm date for opening: January 26
In this exhibition curated by Boutilier’s Point woodturner Stephen Zwerling, tenacious Nova Scotian designers offer us a new perspective on the furniture we live with. Jeff Amos, Carole Burnett, Shelly and Keith Haill, Alexa Jaffurs, Christopher Joyce, Lloyd Klassen, Peter MacLean, Randy Mugford, Veronica Post and Gary Staple are a far-flung cohort of emerging and established artists currently producing unique pieces with a fresh approach.
“This is Living Furniture: furniture with an essence of its own that reflects the minds and hands that conceived and made it.” – Stephen Zwerling, curator.
