Wild Paper

Wild Paper

Deep in a marsh in the Minas Basin in Nova Scotia, the wild paper pickers go about their arcane rituals, pulling pond scum and wild paper from the marsh and giving it away to be turned into art.

What are these veteran paper finders up to? What is Wild Paper?

Find out at the huge Nonesuch Paper Exhibit, on at the Paper Factory in Griffintown. The exhibit ends December 16th, and besides wild paper, features amazing works on paper, with paper and featuring paper and assembled from around the world. It’s an eclectic juried show in which you can vote for the works you like best.

This is a stunning exhibit in one of the most storied spaces in the remains of Griffintown.
