Fall 2017 Events update

September 27, 2 to 4 pm: Afternoon tea and talk – “Our Heritage Gardens”: a photographic/text essay on the history of the museum gardens with photographs documenting individual plant varietals by Zella Perry.

We are hosting school visits during the first two weeks of October: October 3 – Wallace Elementary School and October 11 – Tatamagouche Elementary School.

October 13, 2 to 4 pm: Reading by Janet Maybee from her book Aftershock: The Halifax Explosion and the Persecution of Pilot Francis Mackey (Nimbus, 2016), winner of the Robbie Robertson Dartmouth Book Award. Janet will also share her visual presentation in commemoration of the 100th anniversary the Halifax Explosion.

Please note: October 13 is the revised date for Janet Maybee’s reading, tea and presentation.

Due to unforeseen circumstances, there will not be an afternoon reading and tea on September 24.
