Build-a-Book Workshops: Sketchbook
Get your stitch on! This series of workshops focuses on learning how to make a different style of book every session. In an evening, you’ll learn the steps involved, the materials required, and the enjoyment to be had in making your own creative books. All materials are provided, bring yourself and have fun!
The last installment of this series covers the most popular and well-used book of the set: the sketchbook. In the space of 2.5 hours, we’ll learn what’s involved in selecting the papers, creating the sections, and in making a hardcover enclosure to our handmade sketchbooks. All materials are supplied, but students are encouraged to bring a heavy book to help flatten their creations in-between times.
Participants can expect to create one sketchbook/notebook of their own creation, and learn the skills to create more on their own at a later date.
There is a limited amount of discounted spots to take all 4 classes at a reduced rate, email for more info!
