Visual Arts Nova Scotia is excited to present an artist talk by visiting artist JJ Lee, in collaboration with Anna Leonowens Art Gallery Art Bar + Projects. Through mixed media paintings and drawings, Lee explores the space between states of being, cultures, histories, identities, representation and abstraction as a result of contemporary global life. Taking place Friday, June 14 at 6pm at the Art Bar + Projects, 1873 Granville Street, Halifax, NS, this free artist talk is offered as part of Visual Arts Nova Scotia’s En Route Artist Talk Series. If you are a NSCAD alum, drop by early for the Alumni Social starting at 5pm.
