The Craig Gallery, June 29 – July 23
Opening: Wednesday, June 28, 7 – 9pm
Mentee Artist Talk: Saturday, July 15, 2pm

You’re invited to the opening of The Initial Show: Visual Arts Nova Scotia’s 2016-17 Mentorship Exhibition! At the end of each 10 month Mentorship Program, all the participants exhibit their work together at The Craig Gallery at Alderney Landing. This exhibition is a celebration of the months of commitment and hard work that mentees and their mentors have put into the program. Highlighting the talents of mentees Alexis Vessey, Ben Mosher, Ryan Josey, and Kate Grey, The Initial Show also includes work from mentors Sarah Maloney, Craig Leonard, Bryan Maycock and Andrea Dorfman. Some mentor/mentee pairs have collaborated on work especially for this exhibition.  Join us for a fun evening with the artists!

Are you interested in learning more about the mentorship program or applying to be a mentor or mentee next year?  For more information visit: www.visualarts.ns.ca/programs/mentorship-program.
