“Canada Enters the Space Age” Show opens June 30th

The Town Hall Arts and Cultural Centre (THACC) is hosting a preview of the upcoming “Canada Enters the Space Age” show to be on display at the Port Medway Lighthouse Park and Seely Hall. This ‘satellite show of the Satellite Show’ is on exhibit from June 30 – July 12, 2017, showcasing the work of local photographers such as Ken Dagley and Ralph Morton in addition to snapshots and memorabilia contributed by community members and past employees.

Offering a taste of what’s to come in Port Medway, the public is invited to stop by the THACC on June 30 at 3:00 pm, 219 Main Street in Liverpool, to learn more about “Canada Enters the Space Age”, a celebration of Canada 150, covering the history of communications and the importance of the Charleston site to international cooperation and the peaceful use of space.
