Gallery 18 in New London, P.E.I., is pleased to announce a pdf catalogue for its headline exhibition and sale this season. Thérèse was born on August 20, 1921, in Matapedia, Quebec. She studied Bioengineering – earning both a B.Sc. and a Masters degree. However, from an early age she also maintained a passion for art. Writing in 1992, Thérèse said as a child her “favorite game was drawing.” Although mainly self-taught, Thérèse attended workshops with many artists including Molly Lamb Bobak. Thérèse D’Amour died in O’Leary, P.E.I., on December 23, 2013, at the age of 92. Her work continues to be highly regarded among P.E.I. artists.

Thérèse D’Amour – A Passion for Nature exhibition and sale at Gallery 18 will be available for viewing beginning on Friday, May 19th, at 2:00 PM. The show continues through the 2017 season.
