Call for Submissions: A Show of Friends!
The start of the 2017 season with a Members’ Show and Sale
At the Historic Fraser Cultural Centre
June 9 to July 4th
Tatamagouche, Nova Scotia
Opening Friday, June 9, 2017 at 7:00
NAC plans to open the season with a special members’ show. We would like to invite members, past and present, to invite an artist friend (or two) to submit work along with them. To celebrate the relationship, we would ask you to include a brief statement about your friendship-how you met? How long have you know each other? Is art part of your friendship? We will post the statement along with paired works.
This is our opportunity to celebrate friendship, highlight the wonderful work of our artist members and introduce new artists to the Gallery.
You and your friend may submit up to four pieces.
All media welcome.
How: Inventory information must be sent to Gallery Coordinator one week prior to the opening-this must include title, size, media and price.
Labels will be made and ready for the day of installation.
When: Art should be delivered to the Fraser Cultural Centre, 362 Main Street, Tatamagouche, NS
on Wednesday, June 7 between 4:00 – 5:00.
Work must be picked up Wednesday, July 5 4:00 and 5:00.
Please contact the Gallery Coordinator if you need to deliver or pick up at an alternate time.
Preparation of work: The Gallery is equipped with a cable track hanging system. Any work to be hung must be wired appropriately for installation and labeled on the back.
Members will be requested to renew their membership. The forms are available on our website. There will be no charge for Friends to submit pieces to this show.
Artists with one year of membership receive 75% of their sales.
Non members/new members receive 70% of their sales.
