Show Opening: Sound Etiquette
Sound Etiquette curated by our Curator-in-Residence Amanda Shore will open this month on March 27th at the Khyber Centre for the Arts.
This exhibition showcases artists who create new—sometimes indecipherable—communication methods in situations where comprehensible language proves to be insufficient. Through sound and video, they experiment with babble, song, slam poetry, and soundless closed-captioning to a point where language unravels into its basic units of measurement—sound and silence.

Send us your plants!
For the next month and a half we’re looking for plant donations! They can be mature plants, cuttings from other plants, or even just seeds.
In late April we will be selling all the plants here at the Centre for our first ever Garden Party fundraiser. If you have a plant you’d like to donate drop it off at anytime to Tori or Sally at 2238 Maitland st.
Join us for our March Crit Night!
Crit Night will take place on March 15th at 6pm. Crit Night is open to everyone – emerging artists, established artists and people who don’t yet think of themselves as artists. If you have any interest in the arts, we want you there!
Bring anything you might be working on (works in progress are encouraged!) and get some feedback from the group. Don’t have anything on the go right now? Not to worry, just drop by and be a part of the community!
March 15th at 6pm.
