All classes and workshops will be held at Windsong Studio & Gallery, 1331 Victoria Rd. Aylesford, NS.
Day long workshops are $60.00 per person and are held from 10 am to 3 pm.
8 week classes are $100.00 per person. See class description for class times
Acrylic Painting Tuesday afternoons 1:00pm – 3:30pm
This class will be guided exercises for the first few weeks and then your own projects for the rest of the class, with class input and encouragement. Experience an asset but not necessary.

Beginning Watercolour II –
Wednesday afternoons 1:00pm – 3:30pm
A class especially designed for those wanting to learn about watercolour. Basic techniques, handouts and useful exercises will be given each week to help you understand the complexities of this wonderful medium. The saga continues from the fall session, but all are welcome.
Starting January 25, 2017
Thursday morning 9:30 am – 12:00 noon
Here we will explore various aspects of watercolour, from impressionistic to detailed pieces. Various papers and techniques will be used. This is designed for those with some experience.
Starting January 26, 2017
Thursday afternoon 1:00pm to 3:30pm
In this class we will look at classic botanical painting and develop our skills with leaves, flowers and other available specimens.

Painting the winter landscape – Acrylic
In this acrylic workshop we will look at colour and light in the beautiful winter landscape. Photo references will be provided.

Glass etching- Something for fun! *Half-day*
A morning workshop on the basics of glass etching, materials will be provided. You will learn how to cut a stencil and create a lovely project to take home. Please specify cup or plate for your project.

Winter landscapes in watercolour
In this watercolour workshop we will paint the winter landscape with all its subtle colour and shades. We will use 140 lb CP paper. No larger than 1/8 sheet or 7.5 x 11. Photo reference material will be provided, step-by-step demonstration.

This is a day-long session on developing and improving your drawing skills. We will cover the topics of shading and values, perspective and picture planning, as well as small vignettes of interesting objects and scenes. A sketchbook pencil and eraser are all you will need.

During the winter season weather is always a concern. My general rule is if the schools are cancelled then classes are cancelled as well. Some of you travel from a distance and I want everyone to be safe. Cancelled classes will be added at the end of the session.
