Have you ever wondered what happens to your art after it enters a gallery, museum, archive or private collection? Have you questioned whether your art is going to last and which materials are more durable than others?

Art conservators are uniquely qualified to provide you with information and resources with which to make decisions about the material aspects of your artistic practice.

Bring questions, images and materials to this session to direct the discussion according to the needs your practice. Receive answers to your questions on a variety of materials, including: paintings and painted objects, metals, wood, ceramics, glass, fiber/textiles, plastics and two-dimensional framed art. A list of resources will be provided.
