We have begun collecting donations and are available to accept works in a variety of ways. They can be mailed, delivered to us in the Halifax/Bedford area or a limited amount of pick up can potentially be arranged. At this point we would like to hear from you and find out what will work best. We were thinking perhaps a couple of Saturdays at a central location for drop off and then if there are some who would like to make other arrangements we can do that on an individual basis.
We would ask that all artists forward a short bio along with a photograph of the art to be submitted in the show, as soon as they are able. These should be sent to email@example.com
All art should be ready for display and should include a sticker or card on that back of the piece(s) that details the artists name, the suggested minimum price, the suggested retail or gallery price if not the same as the previous, and a clear indication of whether the piece is to be donated outright or if there will be a profit sharing with the artist. If it is to be shared, the percentage should be clearly stated.
All artists are invited to attend the show and are encouraged to spread the word.
We are meeting with the venue sponsors on Wednesday and further specifics about the evening will be sent as soon as they are confirmed.
