Upcoming Workshops & Concerts at Visual Voice Fine Art, Truro, NS

vvworkshop

Our series of printmaking workshops with NSCAD’s instructor Maria Doering continues.
We are going to explore the possibilities of the human figure through the experimental printmaking method of Monotype. You will be creating one of a kind figurative imagery with this unique process and the aid of fingerprints, cutouts, drawing, found materials and much more. This time we will be using larger plates than in previous workshops.
You can come prepared with a few figurative image ideas or spend the day experimenting spontaneously with this much more direct and painterly printmaking technique. You do not need previous knowledge of printmaking or drawing the figure to participate in this workshop. Please bring an apron or old t-shirt and any thin/flat found materials like dried leaves, thread, paper cut outs. If you can’t think of anything, not to worry, there will be materials supplied as well.

Sept.27 Tuesday 10:00 – 3:30 pm only $75 +tax per person.
30 min lunch break – bring your own.
Limited space, Pre-registration required 902-843-9464
