Happy Summer!! Here are a few things that Swoon has been up too. We hope to see you Swoon!

Website updates: New items are always being added to the Swoon website. Recently many new pieces were added to the Antique section, especially in China/Glass. Check out whats new and if you see something you are interested in, email us at info@swoonfineart.com .
Babbling Brook Antiques: If you are in the Truro area, don’t forget to check out the “Swoon Room” at Babbling Brook Antiques, 676 Prince Street.
NovelTea Bookstore Cafe: If you are in the Truro area, also visit NovelTea. Swoon now curates all the art and craft showcased, including wood turning by Peter Kinsella, Pottery by Gloria Dunbar, Black Crow Pottery and Anne Pryde Pottery, Stained Glass by Jay Leblanc and Lynette Richards and so much more. New work, and regularly changing art exhibits happening monthly!
Call For Submissions: If you are an artist or know someone who might be interested, keep an eye on our “Call For Submissions” page on the Swoon website. There is a call posted now for a group show in August. Deadline for submissions is coming soon!
Swoon at NovelTea presents: Pastels by Rae Smith and Paintings by Anna Horsnell Wade. Show continues until the end of June.
The Sarah Diaries – Book Reading & Signing: Through storms and ice, from open ocean to the St. Lawrence Seaway … artist Anna Horsnell Wade experienced an adventure like no other when she went to sea aboard the oil tanker, Sarah Desgagnes. Learn about the life of merchant mariners, as she reads from her new book and shares her experience and inspiration. Copies of the limited edition, hard-cover book will be available for sale and the author will personally sign. Saturday, June 25. 1-2 pm, at NovelTea Bookstore Cafe 622 Prince Street, Truro.
Illustrational Art – A Group Show: July 9-30. During the month of July, drop by NovelTea Bookstore Cafe in Truro NS to see “Illustrational Art – A Group Show”. Artists were invited to submit work inspired by books and the written word. Artists participating are: Carla McAfee, Darren Moreash, Christene Sandeson, Mary Jane Abram, Erin Hollingshead, Sheila Green, Nan Millette, Ron Kuwahara, Diane Wile-Brumm, Diane Redden, Sofia Alarcon, Curtis Botham and Emily Marsh.
