The Lunenburg Symposium: Mentorship in the Arts starts May 27!

The lineup at The Lunenburg Symposium: Mentorship in the Arts looks amazing! We have confirmed all our guest speakers, including Shawna Dempsey (Co-Executive Director for Mentoring Artists for Women’s Art), artist and educator Zachary Gough, and Toronto collective Mammalian Diving Reflex.Topics include: the economies of mentorship, how-to’s for mentorship, and an evolving approach to mentorship and youth engagement. Advance registration starts at just $60 and includes includes all symposium sessions, lunch on both dates, the Friday reception and the Saturday evening event. 

We have planned some great evening activities too. On Friday night our symposium partner, Lunenburg School of the Arts, will host an opening reception with drinks, nibbles and a knot-making group activity. Then, on Saturday night, Lunenburg Academy of Music Performance (LAMP) will host a performance from the vocal residents who are mentoring with Montreal musicians Constantinople.
